Terms of Service

Food Truck Spot is a marketplace that helps you find food trucks near you, browse their menus and order ahead for pickup. We are an intermediary only. The food truck vendor is the seller: the sales contract for food and drink is concluded directly between you and that vendor, who is responsible for the food, its description, allergen information, hygiene, pricing and applicable taxes.

You need an account to order, save trucks, review or manage a truck. Keep your sign-in secure and provide accurate information. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or the law.

• Placing an order is an offer to buy from the vendor; the order is confirmed when the vendor accepts it.
• Prices, availability, preparation time and pickup instructions are set by the vendor.
• Show your pickup code at the truck window to collect your order.
• A vendor may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item sells out or the truck closes early.
• Orders are prepared for a scheduled pickup; uncollected food may be discarded after a reasonable wait.

• You can pay at the truck or online, where the vendor offers it. Online payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store your card details.
• The vendor charges in the currency shown on their page. Other currencies shown in the app are indicative conversions for guidance only.
• Promo codes are issued by vendors and are subject to their conditions and availability.
• Refunds and complaints about an order are handled by the vendor, since they are the seller. If you cannot reach a vendor, contact us and we will help mediate and can refund an online payment where a vendor has failed to fulfil a paid order.
• Prepared food ordered for a specified pickup time is exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal; this does not affect your legal rights when food is not delivered as agreed.

• Listings are reviewed before they appear publicly; we may request verification documents such as licences, hygiene certificates or insurance.
• Vendors must keep menus, prices, allergens, locations and opening hours accurate, and comply with food safety, licensing and tax law where they operate.
• Vendors are responsible for fulfilling accepted orders and for handling refunds and customer complaints.
• Access to vendor features may require a subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be managed from the truck dashboard. Complimentary access granted by us can be time-limited and withdrawn.
• We may suspend or remove a listing that breaches these terms, receives serious complaints, or fails verification.

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. Do not post unlawful, misleading, offensive or personal-data-revealing content, and only upload images you have the right to use. You keep ownership of your content and grant us a licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content that breaches these rules.

Do not misuse the service: no scraping, automated bulk access, attempts to break access controls, fraudulent orders or payments, or interference with other users or vendors.

We work to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, nor the accuracy of vendor-supplied information such as menus, allergens, locations or hours. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the food or service provided by vendors, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time from the Privacy settings page. We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these terms. Obligations relating to completed orders, payments and content licences survive termination.

We may update these terms; the revision date above shows the current version and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Questions go through our contact form.
